“If you come here, you will find a hidden treasure.” - Paulo Coelho

Mary Louise is located at Tuross Head, a coastal village that is impossibly beautiful and surrounded by magnificent waterways and expansive views.

Mary Louise is a 1978 modified beach house. After being rented out for most of its life, it had become the eyesore of the neighbourhood. Despite its dilapidated condition, it had good bones and design integrity that needed saving. So, in 2017 the restoration of this 70's original beach home began in earnest.

After a year of work, Mary Louise was finally transformed. It now stands proudly getting the admiration it deserves. The living and dining area is open plan and seamlessly connected to a beautiful outside deck offering ocean, mountain and hidden garden vistas.

The expansive outdoor areas are designed for guests to sit back and laze in, either to enjoy moments of solitude or the company of friends and family.  Indoors, the rooms are as equally inviting, where you feel instantly at ease and lose all sense of time.

The sleeping quarters have been created for escape and relaxation, with three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, another bathroom (including laundry) and a hideaway reading nook downstairs.

Mary Louise comfortably sleeps up to 6 people, it has a full kitchen with thoughtfully chosen provisions, guest toiletries, fine linens, cosy textures, WIFI, Smart TV and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Bespoke and beautiful...

Mary Louise has been carefully designed and lovingly curated, brimming with objects of delight and furnishings from around Australia and the world. No detail has been left untouched.

The experience I’ve had in creating Mary Louise has been transformative, and I hope that it can do the same for you.

With Love, ML
